Desmond Dekker recorded some of his best known songs together with his backing group the Aces (consisting of Wilson James and Easton Barrington Howard). Their debut album 007 (Shanty Town) includes their single of the same name, which made him Jamaican music’s first outernational superstar, reaching the 14th place in the UK charts.
1978 saw the release of Bob Andy‘s album Lots of Love and I, which includes the classics “Ghetto Stays in the Mind” and “Feel the Feeling.” As one of reggae’s most influential songwriters he wrote 10 new songs for this fantastic LP.
